How the calculation works
Pages per signature = 4 × folded sheets. Signature count = ceil(content pages ÷ pages per signature).
Before you use the result
All signatures are the same size. Excludes endpapers and covers; paper thickness and sewing swell are not modelled.

Results display up to three decimal places. Rounding happens only for display, except where the method explicitly counts whole items.
